Is the eye exam free?
The eye exam we perform does have a price tag, as we focus on providing an extraordinary, extremely thorough, personalized exam using state-of-the-art technology with highly qualified and experienced optometrists. It costs 15,000 CRC (Costa Rican colones).
However, we constantly have special offers such as packages that include it, and with the purchase of ophthalmic lenses, we give it to you as a courtesy.

What are your warranty guidelines?
We offer a 6-month warranty on our frames and a 1-year warranty on our anti-reflective lenses. If anything happens to your frames or lenses, please bring them to our store in Plaza Tempo, Escazú, or contact our customer service team at WhatsApp: 8989-0858.
Every case is unique, but there are some general guidelines for assessing whether a damaged product is covered by our warranty policy.
We cannot replace them if the following applies to your LEBLANC:
- They were damaged deliberately or through negligence.
- They have been used inappropriately or carelessly.
- They have normal wear and tear.
- They have been damaged by cleaning without following our care guide.
If your LEBLANC is less than a year old and the damage isn't covered by the warranty, we can help you get a quote for a repair or restoration with our specialized workshop, or you can purchase a paid rim replacement.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
The estimated delivery time will depend on your order and prescription.
Single Vision Lenses: Single vision lenses take 2 to 5 business days.
Progressive Lenses: Progressive lenses take 3 to 5 business days.
Contact lenses: Negative spherical contact lenses (for myopia) have a delivery time of 2-3 business days as long as they are in stock. For all positive and toric prescriptions, stock availability must be checked. If not in stock, it would be by special order and lasts 6-8 weeks.
Optical frames, sunglasses and accessories: 1-5 business days.
Note:
For special treatments (Quarz Perfect, Quarz Airon, others) where the lens must be sent to be manufactured outside the country, it takes 7 to 15 business days.
The finished product (optical/sunglasses frames and lenses) can be picked up in our store once they're ready. If you'd like us to ship it, please allow 1 to 5 business days.
Where can I adjust my optical / sunglasses frames?
In our store, adjustments are free for all our customers.
If you pick up your LEBLANC in-store, our team can adjust them upon pickup if necessary. If you purchase online, you can still stop by our store if you need an adjustment; no appointment necessary.
How do I know if I need an adjustment?
Here are some signs that your LEBLANCs don't fit properly:
- You get dizzy when you use them
- They slide down your nose
- The temples do not sit completely over your ears
- You feel pressure in the wrong places, e.g. at the temples (too tight or too loose)
- The nasal pillows do not distribute pressure evenly (do not sit straight)
Don't worry, these problems can often be resolved by adjusting the rings. Don't hesitate to visit us for your free adjustment. We look forward to seeing you!
Can I replace my LEBLANC if they get damaged?
Yes, we offer a frame replacement service in our store. If your LEBLANC frames have been damaged and the damage isn't covered by our warranty policy, you can purchase new frames (of the same model) and we'll replace your existing lenses. We also have a specialized repair and restoration workshop. Simply send us a photo or bring your frames to our store. We'll assess them, and depending on the damage, we'll determine if they can be repaired.
Can I put new lenses on my LEBLANC?
Yes! Replacing old lenses with new ones is common since our frames can withstand more than one installation. If you'd like to restore your frames so they're ready for use again, we can do so in our specialized workshop.
